Teachers’ Meeting in Split

18-22/10/ 2021

As part of the Erasmus+ project Let us sail together from October 18 to 22 in III. gimnazija, Split, teachers’ meeting was held. After the principal’s welcome speech and a small reception, the participants toured the host school. Project coordinators from all six partner schools (from Greece, Iceland, Portugal, Sweeden, Turkey, and Croatia) were present. They described previous project activities in their schools and cooperation with teachers, students and parents. Coordinators also shared their thoughts on future events concerning the project.

The central part of the meeting was to agree on the direction in which the project should go considering the restrictions of the Covid-19 situation.

After the discussion, representatives from all schools in the project agreed that the project coordinator would request an extension of the project for another school year. In that case, the project would last until 31st August 2023.

An agreement among the participants was that all planned Learning, Teaching, Training activities in the project should be held according to the following schedule:

The 2nd mobility: Croatia 27/3 – 1/4/2022

The 4th mobility: Greece 9-14/10/2022

The 5th mobility: Portugal, March or April 2023

The 6th mobility: Turkey, April or May 2023.

The project coordinators agreed that each school would bear the costs of accommodation, meals, tickets, excursions, transportation for its students and teachers. The procedures regarding the Covid-19 situation and possible travel and mobility cancellations were established, as well as an agreement on the dissemination of the project in the future (website, social network, etc.).

Each hosting country will give the details of the LTT activities and instructions to the other partners six weeks before the mobilities.
